MBIDEA

Dedicated to fostering sustainable development by empowering communities through environmental conservation, economic resilience, and social well-being. Through initiatives like reforestation, climate-smart agriculture, and clean energy promotion, we protect natural resources while enhancing livelihoods. Our commitment extends to marginalized groups, including women, youth, and vulnerable populations, ensuring inclusive growth and access to opportunities. By integrating education, health programs, and alternative income-generation projects, MBIDEA builds self-reliant communities, strengthens climate resilience, and drives lasting social and economic transformation.

Statistics & 2030 Targets 

To measure impact and drive sustainable change, MBIDEA tracks key statistics and sets ambitious targets for 2030:

Environmental Conservation & Climate Action

Current Impact.

  • • 1.2 million trees planted since 1998.
  • • 100,000 tree seedlings produced annually.
  • • 706 improved cookstoves adopted in households

2030 Target:.

  • • 3 million trees planted for reforestation
  • • 5,000 households using improved cookstoves
  • • 50 water sources rehabilitated and protected

Community Livelihood & Economic Empowerment

Current Impact.

  • • 479 farmers trained in sustainable farming
  • • 3 farmer groups supported with small loans
  • • 217 fruit tree seedlings distributed

2030 Target:.

  • • 2,000 farmers trained in climate-smart agriculture
  • • 1,000 beekeepers empowered for income               generation
  • • 100 farmer groups supported with microloans

Health & Social Welfare

Current Impact.

  • • HIV/AIDS awareness in 12 villages
  • • 170 orphans supported with school materials
  • • 17 children rescued from hazardous child labor

2030 Target:.

  • • HIV/AIDS education in 50+ villages
  • • 500 orphans supported with education & welfare
  • • 100+ children saved from child labor

Education & Youth Development

Current Impact.

  • • 169 students engaged in environmental education.
  • • 12 schools supported with learning materials
  • • Youth leadership training for community engagement.

2030 Target:.

  • • 50 schools participating in environmental programs
  • • 1,000 vulnerable students supported 500 youth trained in leadership & advocacy
